Shadow Juries

Shadow juries offer a unique strategic advantage by providing real-time feedback over the course of a trial from individuals similar to the actual jury members. We recruit a number of potential shadow jurors prior to your jury selection and then select those who closely match the demographics and attitudes of the seated jurors. Shadow jurors observe courtroom proceedings and provide daily insights into how the case is being received. This feedback allows trial teams to adjust their strategies, ensuring that arguments and evidence are presented in the most compelling manner possible.

Witness Preparation

Jurors often use verbal and non-verbal cues to guide their evaluations of a witness’s testimony. Unfortunately, the behaviors associated with nervousness (e.g., poor eye contact, fidgeting, hedging, soft voice) are often misinterpreted as a witness being deceptive and evasive. On the other hand, when a witness appears confident and knowledgeable – without being condescending, the credibility of his or her testimony increases substantially.
